Alternative Health Care – The Name is Soon to Be Changed to Primary Health Care

There is a movement in the USA and around the world to revisit the call of nature in health care. Health care in the alternative form is not focused on the disease but on the “what is” in disease. Many diseases would never occur in the first place with the use of alternative therapies. With alternative approaches, the search for disease in people would become a search for balance with nature.

Alchemists learned to isolate elements over 300 years ago resulting in abandonment of alternative medical systems. New science is proving the dangers of drugs and documenting the value of the so-called alternatives. Now, alternatives are moving into the main stream replacing drug based primary health care. A new Health Age is emerging and is permeating society and invigorating medicine. When To Choose Massage Therapy As Primary Health Care Modality

When would someone choose massage therapy as a remedial therapeutic healing modality?
The intent of this article is to provide insights to consumers when choosing a health provider. When is it appropriate to choose massage therapy. My motives are to market my clnic because I am a massage therapist, and partly to be helpful because the public doesn’t know what services massage therapists provide. I also wish to take the burden off physicians, chiropractors, and physiotherapists who are being overtaxed for their services for some treatments which can best be perfomed by massage therapists.

When is it appropriate to go to the massage therapist?

For most muscular and joint aches and pains.

Primary Health Care System – A Need For Renewal

Health care systems are evolved to meet the needs of the population. These systems may vary from one country to the other. While some are planned well, some countries lag far behind in their services. Primary health care is essential care based on practical and socially acceptable methods which are accessible universally to the entire community gaining their full participation at an affordable cost. It was accepted by World Health Organization as the key to achieve the goal of health for all.

It is not the responsibility of a single person. It takes the efforts of institutions all over the world to make the world relieved of any burden from diseases. Today Worldwide health systems are affected by striking inequities in access to care and cost of service delivery. They are often disjointed, unfair, and ineffective than they should be. While rich countries are specialized excessively, poor ones are not able to cope up with increase in disease and the cost to maintain health. Preventive methods are often either neglected or not given much importance. Health care systems are clearly lacking a sense of direction.
